This Track takes you down a rabbit hole of synth and depth with straining vocals creating an angsty yet, beautiful composition. Both Iver’s and Blake’s vocal restriction gives such a strength that contours the song into an abstract but proper train of thought. Entering with a 30 second voiceless synth piano, it gives a reminiscence of the moans and hymns you would hear in a baptist church. It’s soulful yet, lost. Check out his new album “The Colour in Anything,” Jame Blake truly flexes his musle in this masterpiece of “strainy” vocals and dynamic instrumentation.
